Before you schedule back-to-back killer workouts this month, consider a new study that examined the immune systems of CrossFitters who did two high-intensity workouts within 24 hours. Though the subjects’ muscle power wasn’t affected, researchers found that the intense training did tax the subjects’ immune systems, increasing their potential of getting sick.
